The Philippines is situated in the Western Pacific Ocean with a Population of 109.6 Million People. The country has a rich cultural heritage, A Variety of natural Resources and a globally significant level of biodiversity. Despite of the nation resources, The Philippines is in crises, Its Women, Children, and Men are dying by millions each year due to hunger, Lack of clean water, sanitation issues, and poor health care. The Filipino people need our urgent call to action. Our objective is to address the critical humanitarian issues that are unnecessarily and adversely affecting the Lives of the Filipino people. Our team's research has identified various key Development Projects that will begin to tackle the Philippines Humanitarian Crises. Our group will take the steps we believe Aare necessary to preserve the very survival and dignity of the Philippines and its People.
MESSAGE
As Chairwoman Emerita/CEO of Worldwide Humanitarian Project and Livelihood Development Program, Inc., it is my distinct privilege as well as a satisfying opportunity to be able to essentially fulfill one of the missions of man here on earth – that is the universal responsibility of helping other people. It is not by accident that God has led and placed me into this organization. God has a sound reason why I was brought here. He has predestined everything for me and with my passion to cooperate and obey His plans, hence, everything turned to reality.
The WHP&LPD, Inc. has played a pivotal role in my life which has drawn me back to the basic tenets of loving God and country, especially in my passion to help the poor. It taught me to be selfless and compassionate to others. Through this association, truly I am now closer to fulfilling my purpose in life.
It is a well-known fact to all of us that many Filipinos today are submerged beneath the massive poverty which is one of the deep-rooting problems of this country. Indeed, poverty rules and in such scenario, the rich becomes richer and poor becomes poorer. Old folks work hard to earn a living when they are supposed to be resting and enjoying the God given life with sufficiency. Children are begging on the street for bread when they are supposed to be in school to acquire literacy for their eventual good future. This situation is reality in our beloved country, the Philippines, hence, in contrary to God’s purpose and intent to those who believed to live an abundant life for He made Himself poor for us to become rich.{ 2 Cor. 8:9}
Through Worldwide Humanitarian Project and Livelihood development Program, Inc., we can altogether realize our dreams and aspirations to live a much better life that is glorifying God by eradicating intense poverty. Your involvement with WHP&LDP, INC. will be meaningful and even be a legacy to your respective families.
